Marianne is a Registered Nurse with 38 years experience in direct patient care. She currently works in the Day Surgery Unit at a major local hospital. She is a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish in Worcester MA, and is active as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.
Net of Compassion is the creative effort of Pastor Rich Gonzalez. He and his tireless team operates an emergency shelter for the homeless when temperatures dip below 32 degrees in the basement of St. John's Catholic Church on Temple Street in Worcester, MA.
We are an all-volunteer ministry dedicated to bringing the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to all in need. We recognize that regardless of one's faith affiliation or lack thereof, we are truly all brothers and sisters united by the LOVE that our merciful Creator has for each one of us. Our mission is to bring dignity, hope, love, and compassion to all we encounter in a manner that lifts the souls and spirits of our brothers and sisters.
Tom is a retired Worcester Firefighter and former Deputy Director with the Department of Homeland Security. He is a founding member of the Missionaries of Mercy. Tom is in his fifth and final year of Diaconate formation for the Diocese of Worcester, and is to be Ordained in the spring of 2019.
Jeremiah's Inn in Worcester, MA is a residential, recovery program that offers a safe and stable environment for men to recover from substance abuse and addictions.
